February 27th at 12:00 PM – Please join us for a special presentation by the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage – Stories of Survival: Object. Image. Memory. This landmark exhibit showcases more than 60 never-before-seen personal items brought to America by Survivors of the Holocaust and genocide. Exploring the relationship between objects, their meaning to the original owner and subsequent significance, each artifact is dramatically paired with oversized photographs by renowned documentarian Jim Lommasson with handwritten responses by Survivors or their family members.
A docent from the Maltz Museum will present the program to BUCC via Zoom and we will be showing it using the A/V system in Pilgrim Hall. Members are also welcome to participate in the event from home. If you choose to view from home, please register in advance at https://tinyurl.com/2p8barkh so you can access the Zoom on the day of the event. If you have any questions, please contact Heidi Spangler or Carol Miller.
