Those who Sing, Pray Twice

Mission:  Under the leadership of our Music Director, David Debick, this ministry provides lyrical enhancement of our Sunday Worship Services, and other special events during the year. Several different performance groups offer outlets for talented members and guests.

Practice times are listed below:

Joyful Noise Choir (K through 5^th grade): Thursdays from 5:30-6:15 p.m.

Adult Choir (High School students welcome): Thursdays from 7:30-9:00 p.m.

Recorder/Dulcimer Ensemble (all ages welcome): First practice this Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 5-5:30 p.m.  If you’d like to learn how to play the recorder, let Dave Debick know – free beginners’ lessons are available. Also, if you or someone you know has a lap dulcimer that’s not being used, please contact Dave.

Youth Percussion Group (6^th grade and up, adults welcome): First practice next Sunday, Sept. 15 from 5:30-6:00 p.m., before Youth Ministry at 6:00. This group meets every other week, although the schedule sometimes changes based on players’ availability and broader church calendar.

Instrumentalists (any age): If you’re comfortable playing your instrument and would like to share your musical gifts with the congregation during Sunday worship, please contact Dave D.  He helps with coaching, accompanying and music selection.

Please consider checking out one of these groups this fall – new members are always welcome!  BUCC’s music ministry provides wonderful opportunities for fellowship, fun, and spiritual growth, all in a positive, affirming, Christ-centered environment.
