For Rent

Brecksville United Church of Christ has been blessed with a beautiful facility, but did you know we have affordable rooms available for rent? The church’s location in the center of Brecksville is ideal, complete with a side entrance and handicap access. The lower level of the Christian Education wing has been previously rented for yoga classes, music lessons and driver’s education training, among other things. It is specifically zoned for church and educational ventures. A detailed map of the rentable rooms is available in the church office, but here is a brief breakdown:

  • Room #251: 18’ x 15’
  • Room #252: 18’ x 28’
  • Room #253: 18’ x 32’
  • Room #254: approx. 326 sq. ft.

Bathrooms are easily accessible, as is a separate outdoor entrance. If you or someone you know would like to rent one of the rooms and need more information, please talk to Pastor Dave or call the office 440-526-4364.

Flower Form now available

Sponsoring the Sanctuary Flowers used for our Sunday Worship Service, is one way to honor a loved one, celebrate one of life’s many events, or just share your blessings with our community.

Signup on the calendar on the west wall of the Narthex.

For your convenience, here is the Flower Form, which can be returned to the office or with your Sunday offering.

We ask that those members of our congregation who are able to do so, park in the Central School parking lot, next door. This will leave more space in our lot for guests and those who need to park closer to the door. Thank you.

Now on audio CDs, using newly installed sound equipment. If you missed a service or just want to hear again a sermon, an anthem or whatever, please check with the church office to borrow the CD.

Parish Calendar

Please be sure to enter your meeting and scheduled events on the office calendar. This is used to list your event times in the weekly bulletin, the monthly Pillar, and this website.

Over the last couple of years, it’s been wonderful to watch as the number of kids sitting around Pastor Dave during Time With Young Worshipers continues to grow – then grow even bigger as all the older kids get up to go off to Sunday School with them! In fact, it’s grown to the point that this year we will be going back to five groups/classes of kids each Sunday morning! This also means the need for Sunday School Teachers is higher than ever and we need your help!

Our goal is to find at least four volunteers for each class so that we can rotate. There will be a brief Teacher Meeting during Fellowship Hour on Rally Day (Sunday, September 8th) in the Library. We currently follow the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum, so you would not be required to come up with your own lessons. Craft supplies are also provided. This is a great way to not only spend some time helping our children grow, but also to continue on your own spiritual journey – it’s amazing some of the insights these kids have!

Are available for you to wear in the church and at coffee hour. These are helpful to visitors and new members to get to know our people. If you are missing a name tag, please let the Office know.
